    Leaking Differnetial

So yesterday i was doing some drifting in the snow and everything seemed fine. i park my car in the driveway overnight and today i moved my car into the garage, and on the snow covered ground i see two little goldish brown spots on the ground. it looks like my differential is leaking on the two sides of the diff where the output yolks are. the puddles are not big. i would estimate maybe 2ml leaked total.

what should i do? get it towed to a mechanic? drive it and see what happens?
is it possible that something else is leaking? the fluid did have that nasty smell of gear oil.

    The car is a 2002 a4 3.0 quattro tiptronic with 55xxx miles

damn Audi. i got it in august and so far i have had to replace an axle due to a torn boot, catalytic converter relacement, rear rake pads, and now this alond with my headlight/windshield washers working and its not a bad fuse. Fuck

    Re: Leaking Differnetial

It could just be some fluid came out of the vent. I'd clean the diff and drive it for a day or 2 and see if it returns.

    Re: Leaking Differnetial

I have the same leak. Its coming from the rear output shaft seal. Theres a DIY somewhere. Ill try to find the link.
