Which Audi Stereo do i have?

I have a 05 S-line with the single DIN Audi concert headunit. It also has the subwoofer in the rear parcel shelf, what system do i have? is it Bose or non-bose? Reason i ask is that im trying to connect my Parrot Ck3100 bluetooth car kit and there seems to be several diifferent connector options so if anyone could help me id be grateful :)

You have the Audi Symphony II (single-DIN, no MP3-CD support, black knobs)

The 07's (and possibly '06) and up have Audi Symphony II+ headunits (double-DIN, MP3-CD support, silver tuning/volume knobs)

If your system has Bose, it'll say so on the actual HU and speakers.

Ah great thank you. All it says on the headunit is "Concert". Does having the subwoofer mean i Do/Dont have BOSE or will it specifically say BOSE on the HU?

Also what are the rear connectors on the HU, iso or non-iso?

I am not sure that you have a Symphony head unit.

I thought that they made a line called the "Concert" before the Symphony. I know I have the double-DIN Symphony II (not the II+, but I am upgrading to the II+ in a week or two) in my 2006 A4, and it says Audi Symphony on it.

Because yours says Concert, I would guess that your head unit is part of the Concert series.

However, muffinman could be right - I don't claim to be an expert on these radio parts.

if yours doesn't say bose, it's not a bose.

i'll make it simple. you don't have it. it's pretty obvious when you have one, since the "BOSE" logo is plastered everywhere.

Ah, sorry kosmick, didn't notice that you're in the UK... I know all B7 A4's in the United States have at *least* the Symphony II units but it might be different in Europe...

Yeah you have the base concert one, here in the US we only get the Symphony II with the 6-CD in dash stacker. If it doesn't say bose all over it, it isn't a bose and you probably have the standard subwoofer, I think it might have been an option on very very base cars. At least you get a CD player in europe the B6's came with the Chorus one which only had a tape player! LOLZ

it's 8", do a search, there's a lot of discussion on swapping it, although i have yet to see anyone who effectively implemented it, and was happy with the end result.

Thanks for the input guys. I got up off my lazy ass today and pulled the stereo out and voila, ISo connectors :D That should make the install nice and easy.

2 Questions:

1) Where do you take a feed for an ignition + ?

2) Where is the best place to mount the bluetooth module?

I wired my Parrot up tonight, nice and easy with the iso connectors, just need to run an 12v ignition feed. where can i run one from guys?
