Engine bay light anyone?

Does anyone have a A4 which comes standard with a light in the engine bay? I've seen these for some BMW and Mercs but were they an option for A4's?

If not, how can I wire up a light for the engine bay to switch on when the hood is opened?

Not really, but this might be a good alternative. Other than the fact that it needs to be plugged in the outlet, it's going to be MUCH brighter.

It would be easy to tap into a power source for juice and wire in a switch for a light. But buying a good head lamp would be much easier and could also be used for caving (caving is awesome btw).
