    Quick question about clutch

I searched, i think i found the answer on the other forums, but was just wondering, when it is cold say like tonight (23 degrees) when the car is very cold, the clutch pedal feels really spongy, then once the car is warmed up, back to normal. Was just curious if anyone else had this..

Also, it seems when i first start the car in the morning and i put it in gear and give it gas, the car just does not want to move, when i let the clutch out and give it gas, it goes forward but almost seems like it wants to die until i push the clutch back in. Its almost like there is not enough umph to get it to move and im giving it a lot of gas..
    Any thoughts??

Also on cold start, it sounds like trashcans are under my hood vibrating everything then it goes away..
    Thanks in advance...

    Re: Quick question about clutch

Mine feels like that slightly but it's not particularly noticiable or of concern to me.

To answer you latter question, sometimes the Parking brake sticks slightly when it's cold which is why you have to push it a little more to break free. But it could just be because the engine is cold in your case.

Yeh it was stuck tonight, but the car even rolls forward in the mornings so its not the brake holding it up..

I would think to make sure all your fluids are good, and how many miles are on your clutch? maybe its just old age... Maybe spark plugs?

he said how many miles on the clutch, not car. that could be the issue.

Try this..start the car in gear with ur clutch pressed in but press on the brakes as well

Not sure if it will help but its worth a try ?

    Re: Quick question about clutch

Bump...tried to move it again this morning on first start up, almost died yet again but she finally started to move..as far as the clutch, didn't do it this morning, but i am going to change the hydraulic fluid in it and bleed it...
