WTT: Sportecs for RS4's

Hey guys,

Initially I wanted to trade, no bites. So I'm selling now.

My Sportecs are from the original manufacture. All of them are have scratches and need to be refinished. Nothing too deep that can't be repaired. 1 of them has a 3/4 inch crack in it, so it needs to be repaired. I have 3 tires to go along with these are they are goodyear F1's, $280 tires. The tires are already on the rims with about 50-60% life.

If you want, I'll throw in 4 1996 a8 rims/tires. Great for when you want to roll around with something not so flashy.

Doesn't sound like anyone will be rolling around on those. So you want to trade pretty much worthless wheels for some RS4 reps. Good luck on the trade.

Um, I think there might have been a misunderstanding. What was meant by "I'll throw those in" means I'll add them to my side of the offer. In plain text, this means I'm willing to trade my sportecs and the old school a8 rims for a set of rs4 replicas.

I think thats, by far, a fair trade on my part.

Yea, but on is cracked, which pretty much renders it useless. I have had rims fixed in the past is the repairs never lasted. Where is the crack? Post up a pic of what's for sale.

Usually, when people don't like the deal they move on to other posts. Now what you are doing is a bit disrespectful, I understand that you may believe that the rim is "useless." But was posting that up necessary or are you just trying to kill someone's sale? People sale repaired rims all the time on these forums. Do me a favor, if you are not interested move on. Thank you.

Sorry, but you should have posted it in the right forum (classifieds) if you were serious about selling your wheels and didn't want to hear anyone's two cents. Backing out of you thread.

Thanks for your input. It is my preference to use forums, I find it easier to manage and I like the layout of a traditional forum better. I assure you, there is no question of my "seriousness" to sell these rims. I absolutely want to sell them.

Also, if you are going to have a signature that promotes Audi driver literacy, then I would suggest you take a second look at your own comments before you click submit.

There is a fine line between hearing someone's two cents and common courtesy.

Sorry, but you should have posted it in the right forum (classifieds) if you were serious about selling your wheels and didn't want to hear anyone's two cents. Backing out of you thread.

It's actually not your preference, if you've bothered to not be ignorant, you would have read that the forums rules specifically state the posting of "for sale" ads/posts in all but "Classifieds" section is prohibited.

There's a fine line between being a pompous asshat and someone just trying to get a sale accomplished.

Thank you for your input. I didn't know that "for sale ads and posts" were prohibited in this forum section. I can assure you that it is not my intention to come off as a pompous asshat. If I have, I send out my apologies to anyone who may have felt that way. I only have the singular goal of trying to sell my rims.

I am not one to break rules that are agreeable. Thus, this will be the last time I post on this thread, I will recreate a new thread in the classified section as to follow the Audizine guidlines mentioned by you [Rated S].
