    Belltronics Vector FX2 1/4 mile

    Was bored so I decided to go out and try another 1/4 mile run with my friends GTECH type thing (it is a Belltronics Vector FX2). Don't know how accurate they are.

    I ran a 12.55 @ 111.5mph with a 1.80 60ft, wish I could have got a better 60ft but I was off and on the throttle even launching at 5500rpm due to so much wheel spin. So im thinking if I pull a 1.7 60ft im good for a 12.3 1/4.

    This was at 24psi. Curious what would happen with a higher rev limiter, I was shifting at 7000rpm. Think my 3rd gear syncro is screwing up too

    I have been running 22psi but I turned it up to 24 which is what I was running all along before the mishaps that one night. I did the runs and it is back down to 22psi now. I logged before doing the runs and was running at 12.1:1 air/fuel through a 2nd and 3rd gear pull.

    I really have no idea for certain what the cause was of the problem before, but the car was running at perfect air/fuel when I just logged before doing the 1/4 run.

    no, all I have is a shitty 2 megapixel point and shoot camera that is like 7 years old. It only takes 4 seconds of video that is good enough quality to see. Need to get a new camera or a video camera.

    Really don't know. I was running 25psi when the problems happened. I ran 24psi for awhile everyday before that with no problems, don't know if that 1 extra psi was an issue or not. Also I only had water spraying at the time, dont know if that was an issue either.

    I had good a/f before on logs too when I did it running 24psi so I wasnt worried about running 24 again to do the runs.

    I am gonna upgrade my feed line sometime not to far away though then I guess just run an inline filter and fuel pressure regulator on the firewall.
