    Issue? send me an email

When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.

I plan on changing it if i ever get the tip chip, so who knows when, (currently at 72k) I am hoping for a few summer gifts to myself for a year of savings. Most people change theirs around 70-100k, but I wouldn't go too much over 100k with the original fluid.

I bought mine with 87K on the clock, and immediately changed the fluid along with timing belt, waterpump, cam seals.......

Re: ATF Lifetime in your A6?

The front track CVT cars in the C6 are done at 55k. However the 6sp Tip with Quattro are done at 100K and run about $700-$1000 to do. Obviously 6MT don't apply. But I don't know if the C5s are any different then the C6 Tiptronics.

    You must have the CVT.

Yeah, its not the Quattro. I commute and need the mileage. Still drives really good in snow without chains though. I told the CHiPy it was all wheel drive

Re: ATF Lifetime in your A6?

Mines at 113k and I really need it done. It is very clunky and 'slow' at times. Often slams into limp mode reading "incorrect gear ratio" or something like that. Anyone notice and difference after a change?
