I have been driving my car with the Stage 3 setup since June of '08. From June to November, I was on the stock clutch. Around October it started slipping every so often. Now keep in mind, my car is an in-house beta tester so it gets abused every day so your stock clutch will probably be okay for some time.

In early November, we switched to a prototype clutch and flywheel that we are working to bring to market with one of our partners that supplies the APR Motorsport team in their efforts in the Koni Challenge race series. I have been driving on this clutch since November and all I can say is WOW!!! Great linear pedal feel and good pedal travel. But at the same time, it really sticks great and outperforms the stock clutch. The flywheel is a single-mass unit but we didn't go super light weight because we didn't want the chance of noise/chatter that would make your B7 Audi sound like a piece of crap. Also, we were interested in having a very good driveline feel and keeping the car in a condition that is easy to use everyday.

This is the first aftermarket clutch that I have ever driven on where I liked everything about it...Grip, pedal feel, pedal travel, extremely low noise levels, etc. We are going to be working over the next few weeks to see what they can do to bring this setup to production. Hopefully we will have more details soon.

Oh really? hmm...maybe ill wait around for this... I use to have a ACT clutch in my celica and that one worked well! Well untill something broke on it and i was f*cked!! I drive my car around like crazy but im sure you do a lot more hardcore driving then i do. Ill see how the clutch holds up when i get the kit on and we will see from there.
