    wheel well liner

    has anyone removed the rear wheel well liner? after this last storm and a dumped car the ice and snoww finnally beat the liner to shit. what is under it? you guys thinkits ok to run without, or should i buy a replacement?

    i would assume there is wiring and stuff that is not meant to get wet. i say leave it on.

    removal is very simple and consists of unscrewing several screws that hold it in place. if it needs to be replaced i would do so, don't leave it out if you drive in bad conditions.

    There are some things behind the liners that need to be protected from direct water spray and flying debris, so you'll need to address that if you remove the liners. Also, the liners play a part in reducing road noise.

    I may have to remove mine because of how low my car is. If I do that, I'll probably be getting the fender wells sprayed with some truck bed liner, like Rhino Lining.
