i havent just had a chip in so damn long...but im getting my 2001.5 avant today and its stock no chip no nada!!!
my friend has an early 2000 x-chip and what not.
what are the chances it will fit and work????

how do i findout the box of the 2001.5...arent all 01.5 the same box?? maybe m-box...what about an early 2000 sport edition nogaro chrome mirror caps, 2 tone interior...any idea what box that could be??
basically will my friends chip for his 2000 s4 work on my 2001.5 s4, i havent just had a chip in so long i dont remember.

I'm pretty sure that they are different box's so they aren't going to work. I'm guessing that you werent able to save your k04's from your old s4?

oh i saved them, just going a different route, :-D still have k04's and im sure they are still strong, they were boosting just perfect...will start my surgery soon enought. lol

the 01.5 has the M box which i believe you might be able to interchange with the 02 boxes, but not the 00's...

Sorry -- will not work as is. You'll need a different MAF and an engine recode.
