16" Wheels on a 2007 A4 2.0T Quattro S Line

Will a 16" wheel clear the brakes on the SLine 2.0L's or do i need to get 17's. Looking to get some snow tires and found a deal on some older 2001 A4 16" wheels....also i assume the bolt pattern is the same for all 96+ A4's?

i just wouldnt even try it.. it may but 16 soo small Go-cart rims. go with the 17s or 18s

Mine came with OEM 16's. You have to check the ET on the 2001 set ur getting though, because our front calipers are way bigger.

I'm not sure what the size is, but I really like the old 5 spoke A4 wheels, they would make a nice winter set up

16"s will fit, make sure the et is proper....early base b7's came with 16's

i'm running 16's for winter wheels on my avant. clearance is ridiculously tight between the caliper and wheel weights, but as the above poster said, they came stock.

Same here, I just mounted snow/wheel 16" on my B7 A4 and the clearance for the calipers to the barrel of the wheel are pushing it...

Look at where he lives, this is probably a winter setup.

However I do agree that for the looks factor it's not as appealing as 17's would be. I'd roll 17's in a heartbeat for winter wheels if I lived in CO. My whole thing with a winter setup would be to have as much tire between me and road as possible plus raised ride height (not too extreme, though).

I have 16" on my 2008 s-line for winter, it is obvious that they do not look as good as the 18" but, I prefer a snow car then a show car.
