Yep, I have an R32 TB and an adaptor plate I had machined to bolt it to the stock manifold just never got around to it. I was trying to plan ahead for the larger TB and a new intake manifold when I did the IC but lost interest. Plus alot of people gave me shit for wanting to use 3" piping so I did it just to do it and be different

Thanks, glad some of you appreciate it as much as I do!! I will regret getting rid of it I'm sure but I'm definitely ready for a new project and a few more cylinders (and yes AWD )

No, Im not buying that particular car, just used the picture for reference. I will not buy a car from the north thats been in the snow/salt, nor will I buy one I or someone I trust cant physically go look at. Theres a few somewhat local Ive gotta go check out, if not Ill change color combo's and find something in FL

I always keep my car like that and honestly dont do anything special, just a weekly wash and spray wax cleaning, and usually wax the car every 2-3 months

Yep, I dont have the money to put into the A4 anymore to get the little 1.8T to where I want it powerwise. With the TT Ill have equal money into it and it will easily blow the B6 out of the water! And I would NEVER get to 400Awhp on pump gas The TT should have 450-500awhp on pump gas though

his is mounted like mine i believe... it's bolted onto brackets on the bottom which are welded to the frame/old IC piping along the bottom of the radiator. mounting it that way makes it A) more solid, and B) keeps all bolts away from your A/C condenser. (if you bolt up a bracket and there are bolts in front of it they can wear a hole through the condenser like mine almost did lol)

3.2's only come in DSG and they are 25-30k+ still as they were only available in 05' The only motor swap I know of for the TT is the one that Greg posted in Canada with the 3.2 6spd swap. A 2.8 24v hasnt been done to my knowledge, plus Ill blow that 3.2/4088R power level out of the water with the setup Im going to have

No mounting brackets whatsoever, just a very tight fit. With it hard mounted to the car, the bumper will not fit on correctly, the somewhat loose fitting core as you see it moves a tad when you push the bumper on over it. Besides it only has 3 silicone couplers which dont allow much movement, one at the turbo, one behind the drivers side headlight, and one at the throttle body

What are your feeling on the new TTS?

It might be outta your budget, but you will be the first to mod it and go all out.

a 2.0T with 270hp outta the factory, with a chip alone you're already 310~320. With full exhaust, fmic, intake. You could possibly be at 350hp with simple bolt ons.
