got egged, now spidering

hey, my quartz grey a4 got egged last night. by the location of my car and the eggs landing spot, it was throw from a moving car, so it was thrown really hard. (it was behind my driver side backseat door, i found splatters on my friends car hood that i was parked behind) i dont know how long it sat on my car before i realized it, probably 3-4 hours. then i got home and sprayed the car off and tired to get most of the egg off with a sponge. i backed it into the driveway so no sun would hit the spot until i was able to clean it better. figures my dad moved the car so the sun was directly on the spot. now the paint is spider webbing were the initial impact hit.

what can i do do clean this? i think the spiderweb is now etched into the paint but i can feel it slightly. the car is only 2 months old to me and a CPO, so i dont know the previous detail history, like when it was last waxed and whatnot. im so pissed at these punks. it was in a nice neighborhood with way nicer cars parked all over the block (s63, gt500kr, 2 z06 and about 15 bmws)

Did you just say that a BMW is nicer than an Audi?


If it is etched, it's probably permanent unless you wetsand. I suggest you wash, clay, see what effect polishing has, etc. My friends car had this happen several years ago and the marks are still there. I think the shell scratched/etched the clearcoat so there isnt much you can do when the paint is physically missing.
