how to reset homelink?

im selling my S4 and I would like to know how to erase the program set on homelink? does anyone know how to or is there a DIY link?

its in the owners manual, i think you press button one and three together untill the light starts flashing.

pretty sure you just hold down buttons 1 and 3 till the light changes sequence or stays steady

^^ Don't think this will work. I had my battery completely removed for about 6 months, then put in new battery and Homelink still knew my garage door. I was really surprised...but at the same time stoked because it was a pain to get it programmed in the first place.

Your right, it doesn't work. Mine works after an alternator failure and draining of the battery.

Here's the Homelink User Guide:

2003 Homelink Manual.

Note: this manual was written in 2003 and the cars used have the transmitter in the bumper. B5 cars will have the whole unit encased in the lump on the driver's visor. You will program from within the car and the hazzard lights will not blink to confirm since the B5 unit is not wired into any other portion of the car.

AMC, I remember I had to park directly beneath my garage opener in order to get it to program. I don't remember for sure what finally did it - but I remember it took lots of STFA and trial & error. Good luck

I'm still fucking confused... Can anyone post a great way to do it. I know all openers are now rolling codes so I've gotten to the point where I can erase all my codes and select the button I want to use... After that, who knows what the right steps are. I'm so pissed off at this thing today. Please help if you can....
