HID FOGS PROBLEM, HELP PLz, NEED ADVICE

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have just installed my 8000k H11 but something seems to be wrong,

    1) My headlights H7 8000k 35W are a lot more blue then fog lights they are more like yellow/white. (they should be 8000k as well)

    2) When I turn my car on with my headlights & fog lights on, after 5 sec the left fog turns off.

    3) When fogs get turn on it starts of being blue same as my headlights but then turns to yellow/white which I don't like (its not blue at all).

I want them to be blue as my headlights not yellow/white.

What should I do, Why cant it be so simple

    Please help guys.

Check the connection to the ballast and to the H11 adapter. And remember that xenon bulbs take 5 or so seconds to heat up to temp.

Your bulbs may be wrong which would explain the bad color as for the left fog going off, check your connections. If everything looks good and it still goes off, you may need to follow my instructions, DIY H.I.D. Fogs

as far as color, probably the wrong color bulbs.. i have 3000k bulbs and they give off a yellow/white glow... (ground is illuminated yellow, but the light itself if i stand in front of the car and look at the light it seems more white)

as far as the bulb going out, possibly a connection problem, or possibly a faulty ballast??

i got h11 hid fogs and have have 0 problems with my setup and it was plug n play

thats why bro....dont buy ebay HID kits for an AUDI i made the same mistake and got the same symptoms u had. the yellowish green is what i got and one would stay on then go out until they both went. got to VVME.com and get it there...or buy digital ballast.
