    OEM BBS wheels?

I just traded in my '04 S4, and saw it listed on the dealership's website. its shown with my winter wheels on it, which were bbs forged 18/8. they refer to them as optional, so I was wondering, was this ever a factory option?

    Re: OEM BBS wheels?

Those were option wheels on the B7 S4. They are skinnier than the normal BBS Motorsport wheels and they are not forged.

    Re: OEM BBS wheels?

That is weird I guess the oem versions are forged, but the real CH's are not.

On a separate matter, I have to think the non-Nogaro cars with the Blue Alcantara interior are the rarest B6 S4s out there.

    Re: OEM BBS wheels?

when I first bought the car, I immediately took out the spare and checked out the paint code because I was suspicious that the car had been repainted. I have never seen another one.

Those wheels were optional? I got them as standard on my B7 S4.

That's not a CH wheel. It's an RE and those are forged.

I got 19,500 for trade. If anyone is local and looking for the most meticulously maintained s4 on earth, this is it. I'd like to know that this car gets a good home, it kills me to even look at the picture. especially since the rs6 I bought has been in the service dept. since I bought it, I,m now the humiliated driver of an volvo s60 loaner, terrible in the snow.

    Re: OEM BBS wheels?

That's pretty good value for trade-in. Did you negotiate the price of the RS first, then surprise them with the trade? Just wondering if they weighted your trade dollars more and gave you less off the RS or vice versa.

no, I got a considerable amount knocked of the rs6 as well. I dealt directly with the GM. took quite a bit of dealing, two months actually.

I might have missed this but what year and how many miles did the rs6 have? And what did you get it for?

    Re: OEM BBS wheels?

Yeah, the DRC failed after four days of ownership! some luck. I haven't seen it since, and probably won't again for a few more weeks. It sounds like the dealer is replacing the DRC with coilovers at no charge under warranty. I hope.
