07 S8: Milltek (vid clip) & 21" MTM wheels

Milltek cat back non-res version installed. I have a lift so it was a really easy install. Look great, sounds awesome (vid link below) and my only complaints are; the system grows ~2" when it heats up and the hardware (clamps/bolts/nuts) are REALLY cheap and certainly not the quality I expected. Perhaps when it heat cycles a couple more times it will stop growing-shrinking?

The 21" MTM wheels are shiny silver as opposed to the machined/dark background version you've probably seen on cars here and in the MTM ads. Reason I didn't go with that wheel is, the gray on the background doesn't match the Phantom Black (looks like Porsche Atlas Gray in person). While I had the wheels off, I painted the rotor hats high gloss silver. The wheels really improve the stance of the car and the size more appropriate for a car the size of the S8.

I know, but 2" seems a little extreme to me? I've had Supersprint cat back, Fabspeed and Tubi and NONE grew like this one...... Why don't stock systems grow like this one?

Yes, the clamps are SS but a very low grade nut and bolt make all the fasteners look really cheezy.

I love it! There are not a lot of options as far as 21" for the Audi A8...I have 20" rite now I think it looks too small and I had 22" it looked too big, too high(unless I have a body kit, my car is pretty slammed by the way) but yeah 21" is the way to go.

We decided to go with the shiny silver finish b/c the accent gray in the background on the titanium edition wheel doesn't match very well with Phantom Black. Another reason is/was b/c most wheels I've seen on S8s are that particular wheel and just wanted to be a little different as it is the BEST looking wheel style on an S8 in my opinion.

Not sold on the lowering module yet as I've heard the ride is a little choppy when lowered. The car has to remain somewhat useable for daily commuting. Maybe though.....

Thanks for all the great comments guys! Coming from a Maserati QP Sport this is a luxo liner with a huge bark and bite! Not quite as sexy looking but head and shoulders above the Maser in up to date features and ride. I would have to say though, the sound of the Ferrari motor in the QP through a Tubi sounds pretty good...... However, there is NOTHING like the sound of a V10 at full song through a freed up exhaust system! If anyone is on the fence about an S8..... DO IT!

I took the start up video down and haven't had time to do another. When I did that vid I had started it up a couple times and moved it in and out of the garage a few times w/o allowing it to heat up or drive it and when you do that oil pools and it blows out on start up or when you rev the engine. I will do another shortly.
