New A4 + snow + camera = pics

A little X-Mas present to myself... I picked up my new (to me) B7 A4 2.0t on Thursday, just in time for us to get some snow and ice over the past few days.

The car is a 2007 w/6 speed manual, premium, convenience, bluetooth, wood, and heated seats... basically everything I wanted except for S-line and the color info screen in the cluster, but oh well... It's a CPO plus factory coverage till 9/2010.

I love the car already, after owning two Hondas I "get it" about the whole German engineering thing-- this car is so solid, composed and quiet. It's a blast to push hard (pretty impressed with the OEM non-sport suspension) and it's a beast in the snow, even on the stock P6s. I love the adaptive headlights (great feature), the bluetooth and the 2.0 is a very impressive engine, nice to have some low end torque for a change, LOL!

Enough blabbing tho, here's the pics:

I love the wood kit, I know many prefer the brushed alum, but to my eye the wood has such a richer look, esp w/black leather

Here's one of my dog, just for the hell of it:

Plans include Cupra lip, a subtle drop (would like it just a c-hair lower than OEM sport) and 18s... either R8 reps or RS4 reps (the Ultrasport style). Oh, and possibly a chip, if I get bored with the power but so far I'm totally pleased.

That CF trim does look great, better in the A4 than most any other car, but like I said I love the combo of wood/black leather, so that's going to stay. No worries, that just saves money for go-fast mods...
