PES supercharger ???

has anyone looked at the PES prototype ? it has a blower motor? for cooling. What do you guys think ?

STAGE 2 will be an intercooled version with 8psi with a air - liquid intercooler system producing a power increase of approx 30-40%. The intercooled version will retail at approx. $8,495.

I thought the autospeed SC was dead? MTM, to me isn't an option because of cost. It's awesome that we are finally getting options!!!

It's exciting. I was thinking about getting a RS4 but not now. (Especially since they don't offer the avant in the US)

still the same S/C, but thanks for the info. I'm sure that can be made into a stage 3 with a different pulley and programming.

yes some 3.0s had issues with the latest version of PES software. Mine has been fine for a year and a half. that deal is only on 2.8 and 3.0 kits so don't bother looking.

FWIW if I had a 4.2 and were to put in an s/c, I'd trust VFs software over PES for sure.

PES has been saying they're releasing this thing for like 2 years now...I'm still not convinced. Apparently there's an avant with this blower on it, but I haven't heard about it anymore than that. I'm thinkin this is another APR S/C...meaning all in the imagination phase

Hmmm...$3600 for a SC that they don't even have a photo ofAnybody can make up a drawing and slap it on a website and say they have a SC ????Maybe want to wait till they actually produce some cars with the product on it , before getting to excited or start sending money!

yes some 3.0s had issues with the latest version of PES software. Mine has been fine for a year and a half. that deal is only on 2.8 and 3.0 kits so don't bother looking.

FWIW if I had a 4.2 and were to put in an s/c, I'd trust VFs software over PES for sure.

Maybe if you look at it like that, yes. I, however look at it like an initial $6 invested, and you get some to play with. $2k more, when you have it, and you have what the VF charger is putting out. It is much nicer than waiting to save the $10.5k for the VF.

Of course, I would not jump on ANYTHING without hard numbers and all that, but I believe that PES has had much success with their SC in the past.

But the car does not run right and spits oil out the exhaust and autospeed is handling the whole situation rather poorly so the guy is taking them to court.
