rs4 bumper on a b7?

hello all. i had my car parked today and was involved in a hit and run. it looks like the driver lost control into a turn and plowed into my drivers side headlight and grill according to the tire treads of they left behind telling the story. unfortunately i dont have any pics... sorry! my front left corner is damaged including the hood. this gives me a great opportunity to do some upgrades. i was curious if anybody can share their information regarding if a 08 rs4 front bumper will fit on my 05 b7. will the bumper fit without any problems? any grill or headlight issues as well? what should i know about? a lil help please in my time of despair, i only had my ride for about 2 months. thank you!

RS4 bumper requires new fenders, its a wide body.

you could look into the s-line/s4 front or the dtm a4/25th ed s4

I have the Deval it looks awesome but the fitment isnt like i would like. If i could do it over i would have gone OEM S line but im happy with my choice.

1500 for just the front bumper which is fiberglass??? i think that ill pass.

^deval is pretty good but OEM DTM is sick, I just got mine on last night and I love it. Pics will be up in a week or so

DTM ftw, only ever seen 100% proper fitment out of it, whereas the Deval fails in this dept. to the point where it can make the paint look unmatched even if it actually is.

New paint won't match 100% to the old paint on the rest of the car regardless of what you are painting, unless you actually pay the shop extra to blend the the fenders and other connecting areas.

Yea, I was kinda remiss in not mentioning that. The point still stands that I've seen applications of the DTM bumper that didn't have blending on the adjacent body panels and looked clean, whereas the Deval has seemed to stand out and just look "off."

Since you know for a fact that there is a fitment issue with the RS4 Replica bodykit above the air vents...why don't you do something about it? I've talked to several people and everyone has the same problem. I know this bumper is manufactured by Deval and you are just the distributor. However, I also know both of your companies are very very close and have an excellent relationship.

If Deval were to go back to the mold and fix the issue...I gaurantee you would sell a lot more of these bumpers. All other companies that produce products for our Audis....APR, GIAC, VMR, etc. have been known to fix issues. No company is going to get a design or program right the first time...there will be bugs. But what bothers me is when the company does not listen to their customers about the problem and just leaves it be.

Besides the issue stated above...I love it! This is a mean lookin' front end which whips the shit out of the DTM or S-line in aggressiveness.
