    Trouble starting after filling up

I have only had my 2005 A4 2.0T about 3 weeks I bought it used and every time it gets fill up it take a few tries to get it to turn over, and for a few minutes after it starts it idles really rough while its in drive. Has anyone else experienced this problem before? When I bought it the CEL was on and I can’t get it to the dealer to read the code for a few more weeks.

One other thing that bothers me is that there is no warning tone for when the headlights are on or when the key is in the ignition, does anyone have any ideas why it doesn’t chime at me, I have already killed the battery once because I left the headlight on.

    Thanks

There should be warning tones for both of those things you mentioned. The headlights is a CONSTANT (and quite annoying) tone... not multiple BING BING BING... That's what you hear if you leave your key in the ignition. For lights, it's just BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG GGGGGGG until you turn your lights off or close your door.

Donno about the starting issue though.

Did you buy the car from an Audi dealer or did you pick it up in a private sale? If it's still under warranty, please go to a dealership and have them take a thorough look at the car.

Extended warranty from a private dealer are usually a joke, read the fine print on what it covers.
