2004 S4's - Have you had Recaro issues?

My driver's side seat element is shot as is part of the frame (snapped).

Feels ok but dealer wants close to $800 CDN to repair.

Has anyone done either repair (seat heat or seat frame back replacement?)

I am not heavy but the car is driven hard (tracked too).

I'm surprised.... Audi's have really high quality seats going back as far as I remember. My 4000s Quattro had 195k on it when I sold it and the driver's seat looked new. My current Avant has 90k on it same deal. I'm 225lbs.

Havent had a problem with mine.

~275 lbs with 50 k on my recaros without any problems except a little pilling on the alcantera.
