Well of ice at least. My girlfriend decided that yesterday we should drive to the Victorias Secret outlet in Auburn Hills MI. Me being me and having no fear for the 8-12" of snow and the freezing temps I said yes to the 300 mile trip. Needless to say. MI and IN take much better care of the highways than IL does. A6 did fine and never had the traction control turn on once. I filled up once half way there and am just over 500miles for the tank now with a little under a quarter tank left! When I filled up I did the usual check of everything on the car. My God the C5 body loves to pack in the ice. The front end had 1" of solid ice on it. You can see where I cleaned a lot of it off the headlights. I have driven through many a winter storm in my day and never had this happen. If it would have been nighttime, I would have had to pull over every 50 miles to clean everything. The foglights were completely useless later in the day when we were heading back.

Great Lakes Crossing is a really nice/big outlet mall if you haven't been. You guys should go.

Yep, 4.2 gets good mileage on road trips. At least it always has for me. This is the first one that didn't require me having the ac on the whole time, so I look forward to when I fill up and get real numbers!

The quarter tank thing has probably settled down to reality since last night. I would guess its more so right above the red lines at this point.

Yeah, the roads were crazy out here in Michigan yesterday. So many people spun out into ditches on the highways, I couldn’t believe how many people spun out… well yes I can most of them drove like idiots in really bad weather so what do you expect? Lol

Nope. I just did this to the these headlights for the hell of it. Since I will be swapping them out for the 02+ lights. I always liked how derracudda's car looked with the lights like this. I like it from some angles, and some I don't. Regardless, they will be off the car eventually.
