so your car gets dirty fairly easy during the winter time~
from the salts and snow itself...
Do people wash it often or just leave the frozen ice/snow on along with the salt till the weather gets warmer??

wait for a dry day and take it to a car wash with undercarriage spray...helps clean out all the salt...

The cars are made with a galvanized steel frame so you really don't have to worry about that aspect rusting, and the paint is pretty thick compared to a subaru or honda...just wash when you can...about once every 4-6 weeks

and wash when above freezing so your doors don't get stuck shut on you. I wash when I can and only go to a touch free. yes it doesn't get everything off but i don't want a brush touching my car.

I just wash it in the garage. We have a hose bib on the inside of the garage and a drain in the middle of the floor so that we can wash our cars even in the winter time at home.

I don't like to take my car out of the garage when it's snowy or nasty outside. The salt or sand is just terrible. In central Oregon they actually put down red volcanic cinder on the road.

I wash mine at least once a week. Automatic car wash use at the dealer was included in the deal when I leased my A4. It sure is nice to have this benefit especially during the winter months.

My black car is white with salt right now.

Car wash when the snow stops.... whenever that happens.
