    My Introduction, My 04 USP--ALASKA

so ive been on these forums for years... finally got my first audi this summer. actually bought it off the forum here. anyway... im a active duty air force Firefighter and EMT. im stationed out here in anchorage, alaska. moving back east when im done, got hired on FDNY.

if anyone on here is here in anchorage get a hold of me. gotta do some cruises and stuff.

    the car-

2004 USP 6 1.8t 6 speed. all blacked out for the most part. 15% on the windows, "gun metal" 19" moda R6's... i think thats it really.

things im looking at doing are short throw shifter, engine mount, boost gauge, possibly a chip, and K&N. any suggestions on the best brands or wateva...?

Nice! Love the wheels. Do you use the stockers for the winter, as I'm sure the 19"s aren't good for alaska winters.

actually i am rockin the 19s here for the winter. just put on brand new tires. 235/35 bridgestone potenza all season. im VERY happy with them. no problems with the snow and ice at all. a little slide here and there, but thats more from me. feels like it has studded tires.

ya.. i cant wait to get to NYC.. gonna be awesome

Beautiful car, beautiful setting... IMHO, you are not going to want to run that setup in the city. The roads there are Horrendous - potholes, metal plates, manhole covers, steel bridge expansion joints, etc. I recommend using NYC public transportation (probably the best in the country) and leave your ride in the garage.

Congrats on the pick up, looks really nice. I know we have a few AZ'ers in Alaska, just not sure if they're B6'ers or not...

Anyway, best of luck in NY.

+1 man. Born and raised (and still living) in the city and its just turble (Charles Barkley voice)... I only use my ride on the weekends when going somewhere away from the city. I do bring it out occasionally though..
