Question Upcomming Storm Sat Evening - thinking of blowing off work Monady?

Anybody watching the news about this upcoming storm?

The weather ppl are talking about this upcoming storm being much worse than the one that just rolled on by. I work in Vancouver, ( live East of Tacoma ) and am thinking about just calling next week a wash being that it is really sounding like its going to be a super mess.

I dont have the quote unquote winter tires on the 6, as they are just the standard all weather which are doing fine as long as I stay slow and smart. I was thinking that chains might be a good idea if all else fails, but hot damn...I really dont want to have those on the car if I dont have to.

Has anybody thought of just calling it a week and skipping Monday / Tuesday an extended holiday?

I might call it a day early today if the storm rolls in this afternoon. Probably not going into work tomorrow, then I don't have to go back until the 29th, so I'm se if I can make it through today.

Sent out an E-mail last evening about 11PM - said that I was not headed out anywhere.

Got a reply back this morning saying have a Merry Christmas, and see you next week.

it is officially retarded if you have to work today… and I am one of them. Don’t go out, walking on the St. is very difficult and dangerous. Saw 3 buses stuck at the sametime, a car stuck right by the tracks. DT is pretty much empty
