Which would you buy?

1) 2000 Silver S4, black interior, MT6 with 91k on it. Timing belt at 80k and new k03's shortly after. Asking 13k but I'm sure I could get it for a fair amount less

2) 2001 Silver S4, white interior, MT6 with 59k. MTM stage 1 ecu. Asking 14.5k, but I'm sure I could also knock a few grand off of this one

i would go with my imola 2001.5 black leather with 97XXX for 11000 new timing, forge dv's, stainless brake lines, hawk hp pads, no accidents and very clean title.

Personally, I would go with my silver one 'with 113K miles but with warranty that covers motor, trans, turbos, some suspension stuff, alternator, and a few other things until 2010. It's got an APR ecu, CF hood/trunk, Vogtland coilovers, and a few other goodies!!!!! But its a tip.

Yeah that was pretty much what I was thinking. And 91k actually isn't that bad for an '00, either.

Last time I checked MTM was definitely not a no-name chip
And I'll add, that if the second one is a 2001.5, I'd definitely take that over the first one. Is the white interior alcantara inserts with black leather around it (sport package) or actually white leather? If it's white leather, it's really not that hard to keep clean.

i'd go number 2... less miles. mtm is a reputable company and is uber expensive. you could sell it and get a GIAC chip and not have to pay that much otu of pocket if you got a good enough price. the white interior though.. ew. too "old person" for me, and if you have the slightest OCD, you'd be paranoid about cleaning it every time you sat in it. if you could knock hte price down on it a little more, do it. otherwise, go number 1.. you have two very nice candidates. any sport packages or cold weather packages?

not sure about the packages....I'm going to look at number 1 again tomorrow, and I'll probably be in contact with the owner of 2, so I'll find out.

Still haven't decided whether or not I really want to make a purchase yet...I'm leaving the country again from January-June but I don't know if I can wait any longer, lol.
