water pump question

getting my timing belt done soon and i know its best to have the water pump done too.

but how many miles is the water pump good till? thanks

if this is the stock pump still and they're plastic (comes from the factory), they are infamous for going out and causing catastrophic failure since our motors are intereference motors. if this is the fist tbelt job on the car, do the tbelt, waterpump, tstat, while you're in there. better safe than sorry.

and make sure to buy a metal impeller waterpump
