I just installed a stud conversion kit with cone seat nuts. My bolts keep backing off the rims. I can't figure out what is going on. Am i suppose to use locktite on the bolts or what. I can use a little help here. The rims appear to be cone seat would this happen if i was using cone seat on a rim that is suppose to be ball seat.

I used, and would reccomend using loctite on the studs.

Did you torque down the nuts correctly? They should only be @ ~90lb opposed to stock ~115lb.. Torquing them too tight could be pulling out the studs, and is dangerous to drive on. My brothers wheel snapped off the studs on his 350z (which come stock) because the tire shop torqued the nuts too much.

You don't KNOW if the rims or ball seat? Sort that out first. I opine you have a mismatch. (PROPERLY) Torqued bolts will not just back out, period.
