Custom Exaughst Pipe question

Whats the downside to installing a 2.5 Inch Straight Pipe from the turbos back?? Obviously CEL Light will come up due to no 02 sensors but will that effect driving / perfomance?? Probablly a dumb ass question but figured id ask thank u.

lol.. stock is a single 2.25"... go AT LEAST single 3 inch, if not a 3 1/2". just get CELiminators that space the rear 02 sensors and you won't have a CEL. the rear 02s dont do anything that affect driving, they just measure and trip the light

From what i have read on the forums, the turbo provides more than enough back pressure for performance, so the more free flowing the exhaust afterwards the better

With deb's exhaust you'll be heard a mile away. Not very practical for daily use. Way to loud. Sounds good but to loud. Dual 2.5's sounds good and it isnt that loud. Still loud but managable

They are actually about the same noise level. You could have a 4" pipe back there, and it isn't going to get much louder. It is just the fact that it has zero mufflers, resonators or cats, that is what really matters.

i duno,i have tru dual straight pipe and a friend has 3" straight,and the 3" is quieter (not that either are quiet),plus the backfires are much louder with the dual

I'm retarded,mines only dual 2.25s. tony (aiellos4) has dual 2.5s.

its much louder in person,and as for cops,you just need to keep your eyes open and foot ready to put the clutch in and roll by haha. had the exhaust for 2-3 months and only been stopped once but was let go (knocks on wood)

If you want something similar to this you'd need to get aftermarket downpipes, bigger ones. Using piggies dosent get you too loud. here are a couple vid of setups using bigger downpipes
