    Building my engine!

Whats up guys, well a few here have already read my threads, maybe some of you havent.. for those of you that havent.. I have an 03 a4 1.8t FWD, i bought an AWE GT28r kit with 440cc injectors and after waiting 2 months for my ecu my engine broke after 10 miles of using it(without even accelerating, due to the problem i had that when i pressed the pedal and the car felt boost was coming it started to missfire and didnt want to go further.. trying everything i could i changed for a new fuel pump and the car ranned right for 2 minutes and then again same problem, white spark plugs etc... )

After opening the engine i found a grinded exhaust cam, plus minor head damage, the block was in perfect condition. (my engine is BFB) No im not wrong its european.

Due to this i decided on getting better things, i bought an AEB head this one exactly http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3883030
and also bought a AMU block with scat rods and mahle oem pistons since i thought it was a good deal.
Now i have all of this and im going to start building the engine but im confused since i saw that in the vwvortex forum says that AEB head use 11mm bolts instead of the 10mm bolts the other cars use, but isnt the bolt screwing inot the block? if it is... then ill use the stock bolts beacuse the size of the screw will be determined byt the size of the holes on the block.

The other thing is that after searching for a new timing belt here and its $400bucks, i decided to buy it on the web and ive seen that there are 2 sizes of belts, wich one should i get now that i have these new engine on my car??

Anyother thing i should worry about or buy?
SUGESTIONS ARE WELCOME.. anything you can add to this thread ill be very thankfull.
    Thanks

    Re: Building my engine!

the headbolts depend on the block not the head. The AEB motor uses the 058 block, which uses 11mm bolts. Your block (both BFB and AMU) is an 068 block and uses 10mm bolts

In conlusion... dont worry about it. Get a new set of headbolts and your fine
