Has anybody '00 or older, run a Synchronic BOV w/an anti-stall kit?

Obviously, this doesn't apply to those of you w/stand alone. This wouldn't keep your car from running rich after you let off the throttle, but I was wondering if it actually does keep your car from stalling. Let me know your results if you have tried this setup.

as long as it stays closed at idle you shouldn't have a problem....

I was told by Synapse that you are better off just running it recirc'd if you plan on keeping your MAF on our cars. That was straight from the horses mouth.

I ran mine that way while I was using the MAF and it worked great!

I used to run a HKS SSQV on a prior car. The Synapse unit is much more responsive. I like it a ton better than the HKS BOV.

Synapse won me over hands down.

Ask bassed what he thinks of the Synapse BOV. He loves his too.

Re: Has anybody '00 or older, run a Synchronic BOV w/an anti-stall kit?

    Ah, thanks guys.

Well, the reasons I want to run a full BOV is that my recirc line is really inefficient. It makes two right turns before getting to the point of re-entry (I have the 3" ATP inlet kit, of which the re-entry nipple is facing the wrong direction), and I think both the DV and the DV lines are too small. I'm getting flutter, and I think it'd be better to run a little rich after getting off the throttle than to end up messing up my turbo. Plus, the plumbing is messy and I like the audible confirmation that my DV is opening, and knowing when it's opening. It's like a boost gauge to me.

I plan on trying to get recirc tuned out, but I'll probably need some dyno time for that, which means that I'll need to start saving. In the meantime, something like a BOV w/anti-stall seems like a good solution.

I have zero flutter on my car using the synapse (re-circed). To each is their own but it works great for me that way.

The Synapse unit is the ish. It kills the Tial I ran putting it nicely. I have no experience with a HKS SS on the B5 A4. I am a DBW 2001.5 and run no MAF as well, so my situation is different.
