I ordered a pair of 6000K HID bulbs from DDM Tuning and I was wondering if anyone has purchased from them as well as how do they look installed.

i can get some pictures of them on my friend's bike tonight if you want. they've been top notch, and they've already honored the warranty on them once with absolutely zero hassle. he got a bum ballast and they sent him a new one asap for free

some cars get the bulb out warning for 35w fog HIDs and also just for the beautiful brightness.

i have 6000k from DDM but the 55watt ones. I can tell you I am very happy with them and they look really good(they are installed on my stock halogen projectors). Only thing I will complain about is that every maybe 10-12 times of turning them on it'll trip the fuses on the ESP, brake, and 2 other warning lights on the dash that I can't think of atm, but maybe that's only because I have 55 watt. I read it is because they require alot of power to initially turn on. There is a fix but either I'm too lazy or its too complicated for me. Other than that, if you don't let that 1 little thing bother you, which you might not even have to deal with on 35 watt, then you'll be happy. Sorry I dont have any pics. Installation is easy if you've ever installed HIDs or just know how. It was all very confusing looking to me when I first got them out of the box but when I watched a local kid that I threw $20 to install them, I was like wow that was very very simple. The new generation ballasts are nice and they fit right under the headlight housing.

PS- Mine dont really look like BOPOH's pic. Maybe it's just the angle he took it at or his different brand. His look more blue, although these do have a very nice and light blue tint to them.

Never heard that before, I'm pretty sure it's the other wayaround, you have more issues with a 55w kit than a 35w kit. Read below as a testament. Bulb out warnings come from faulty connections of some of these plug and play HID kits, not too much voltage.

^i've been running 55w kit for approx 4 months and never tripped a fuse. sometimes i will get a brake/esp warning after turning the lights on and the car has been running...but they go away after i shut the car off/turn back on.

точно!! Thats what I been trying to say... Fog light colors DONT necessarily match ANY car. Example: yellow DOES NOT go with a Denim blue car!! Maybe on a black car.

6000K + denim blue = perfect match. Thats why I got 6000K on mine!

Ok, the fogs and low beams are in and installed. The Apexcone kit (35W) I got is plug and play. I will take couple of pics in the next couple days. No warning on the cluster nothing.

lucky YOU!!! my fogs are playing mind tricks with me, actually i think they got mind of their own. I try to turn them on and left one would work, then only right one, then they would act like stobe lights, or not work at all.

Check and double check the connections..and try to switch them around. I know, does not make sense but I think thats what happened on mine after I put them back in. I used to have one of them not light on when I turn the ignition on (car off) and then when car is running both would light fine. After puttin them back couple days ago, I had 0 problems so far.

i have my retro solutions 55w kit now for a year and it hasn't caused any lights or fuses to trip. perfect so far
