Hi new to the forum.
Pictures were taken by JT with my car on a large puddle of water.

just looks kinda unreal/studio-y because of the dark background. but check the vertical pic...there are trees in the reflection...hmmm

if you do the same thing with a longer exposure (20-30 secs with a GND filter) it makes the water turn syrupy smoothe, and eliminates those ripples. (unless you wanted them)

The dealer had it removed to do full ventureshield installation of the hood. I like the fact people are confused when seeing it from their rearview.

Normally I don't like debading but on the hood of the R8 that actually came out looking really slick.

P.S. That's not your DD is it? If not, can you post any pics of your DD? I'll bet that's a hot car too.

^^I rotate between my DD cars. But have been driving the R8 more whenever possible.
The silver Pcar was traded-in for the R8.

Agreed but a set of full CF wheels won't go under $20K if they are true CF construction. With those $13K-$14K difference I bet you can do a few other upgrades to make up for the weight difference. Just my opinion

Actually I was quoted $9K for the 19" Dymag which are the only true CF wheels on the market for the R8. They weights 14lbs each. To me reducing the unsprung weights is more important than sprungs.
