So crank numbers are 344hp/414 with a 28% drivetrain loss ( multiply by 1.28) 269awhp/324awtq

I wish I could but the economy is hurting everyone these days...this was a present from my wife.. 450 is a smoking deal anyway considering all the other pre-fab chips run 600 bucks and dont take your mods into account

most other chips spike at 20-22. It spikes at 18 which is very conservative( I think you misread what I said" they don't see 19psi")

He tunes every car differently depending on what mods you have

I understand custom tunes are cool but dont you feel there is something to be said about the tunes that are available? You can potentialy get a TON of power out of these but how about reliability? These custom tune programs are one off and very risky to run, dont you think?

more power with less boost....i spike at 18 psi where giac spikes at 20 or 21..less harm to the turbos and longer reliability. It just depends who you go to. My guy is one of the top ten in the country when it comes to the 2.7t

Tune is modding of stock ECU...I only have downpipes. Oh and I just did some awd doughnuts

How old of a 4.2? 30hp is asking a lot. Maybe a tune for a 50 shot of nos is what you want

I personally wouldn't recommend nos on a chipped k03 car. I think the egts would suffer. I was actually just joking on the nos all together. Then again if someone wants it who am I to say no......

Ok, wait a minute... According to GIAC you get between 70 - 80 additional horse power and 85 additional lbs of torque(on paper)when you upgrade your ECU with their software. My 2.7T came stock with 265 HP and if I add the lower number I get more than 269 hp according to my calculations right? I have not done a Dyno test, but the difference between pre and post ECU upgrade is pretty dramatic, so can you shed some light on how this upgrade is better or different than what I have? All I have for after market options BTW are EVOMS DV valves and the software flash...

Alpine -- stock was 250, not 265 hp. These are ratings of engine output, not power "at wheels" -- power is lost/absorbed from crankshaft, through drive arrangement, transmission, to final wheel power. Quattro takes up more than 2 wheel drive. Figure about 25% (divide by 1.28). His dyno (awhp, "at wheels" hp) of 269 = around 344 hp crank. I think GIAC alone yields around 308 to 318 (not sure why I've seen such a range). Downpipes is probably another 20 hp, so his tune seems "better" than GIAC.
