    Fair price for getting wheels refinished and painted matte black?

    I have been thanking about painting my Maya STMs matte black with a white pinstrip on the lip to match my car.

    What is a fair price? I had one company quote me $2k

    I don't know about your area but there are a few companies who offer powdercoating around me for $70-80 per wheel depending on rim size.

    I think 2k is way over the top. Most places take $90-$110ish range. They might wants a little bit more because of the size and design of the MTM's i know they have lots of spokes. I think somewhere between $800-$1000 is pretty fair. Maybe you can find something cheaper!

    I got quoted $90/wheel to strip old clear and paint and to powdercoat one solid color. The pinstripe couldnt make the price jump significantly I wouldnt think.

    Since we are on the topic, can the sides of the spokes be masked, so only the face can be powder coated?
