Are injectors a must..?

If I do a 1 or 1+ flash? Some people around my area are running on stock injectors and some aren't. Is it safe for everyday driving? Anything wrong with keeping the stock injectors? Thanks

for 1+, you need to upgrade the injectors. for normal boring stage 1, you dont. trust me....you want 1+

If you need TT225 injectors, you can pick them up used for like $250. Plus $500 for software.

Your car wont even run if you do the 1+ software and stock injectors. It'll die immediatley.
Most 'reputable' shops wont flash you unless you have the proper injectors.

you won't be racing much more then a minivan even with 1+

Upgraded DV is all that would be required for a stage 1 flash.

EFI's and a upgraded DV would be required for a stage 1+ setup

from there your looking at a upgraded DV, EFIs, bigger turbo, exhaust (w/ high-flow catalytic converter OR testpipe), FMIC, clutch, some intake parts, and other misc small things if you wanted to go bigger then 1+, this is where it starts to get expensive.

im guessing EFI is like electronic fuel injection...? if so, will the dealer i get 1+ from sell me that as well or do i have to order/get one myself?

In a lot of cases it is easier to just get the injectors and the software from the place doing the flash. They will supply you the proper injectors for the software you are getting. Yes it might cost you a couple extra $$, but oh well. Do it right the first time.

I did the GIAC Stage 1+ with the Siemans injectors, an upgraded DV. I also found a used Milltek exhaust. My MPG's actually went up for sane driving. Now the car is acceptable for acceleration.

I've been told by two shops that if you go Unitronic stage1+ you don't need upgraded injectors. I've heard that all other flashes require new injectors kind of strange.

I guess they were right i just checked Unitronics website you only need to upgrade the injectors when you go stage2. link below -

Yeah Uni's stage 2 is like Revo, GIAC, or APR's 1+

Yes! I have your car, did the APR 1+, injectors, and APR DV a month ago...do the whole setup! My car is completely different! I purchased my injectors from here and saved some $.
