So I might be moving to OH

So my mom's company is moving her job to the corporate headquarters in Cinci, OH.

Anyone want to tell me what it's like?

I'm coming from CT. So this is going to be a huge change, right? I have no idea what OH is like.

There's different ways to describe the city from each area lol. If you cross the river into Kentucky you can hang out in Newport. A lot of the bands that come through the area play shows in that area.

make sure you buy a place in NKY. Cincy is expensive compared to KY. Plus the drivers SUCK in ohio. They sit in fast lane and never get out of it. Meets happen at my house in ky too so another reason. Do you smoke? cant smoke in public places in ohio. just telling you the truths. But the taxes on cars suck in KY. So take your pick

Lived In cincy all my life. Love it. There are plenty of places to party and have a good time. Alot of really hot high school women here, until of course they go to college then move away to a place with a much better climate afterwords! The whole city freaks out when it snows 3 inches, so having anything wtih quattro will have you weaving through the morons on the road. The thing about ohio drivers just tying up the fast lanes is incredibly true thus resulting in me getting flicked off almost daily for "pushing" them out of my way. All in all, I love this city. What company does your mom work for?

The truth is the drivers in Ohio SUCK!!! The fast lane is for passing and the speed limits on the Interstates is 65, WTF???? I am a recent transplant to the state and can't figure out why Ohio drivers do such things, is it in drivers education?

Anyway, I went to UC for a little while and the town is great. I am now in Dayton, so I get to Cincy a few times during the year. The weather is such that we get ice and slush more than accumulation of snow.

The allroad is good if you wanna drive though creeks and stuff. But its a tank on the drag strip!

I drove a 2003 M3 around cincy for the last 2.5 years. It gets a little iffy in the 2-3 snowfalls a year, but other then that, you really dont have much to deal iwth in cincy. If it does snow, you just need something that can travel with traffic at 30mph on the highway, because everyone freaks out!
