I'm getting some B7 rs4 reps and am coming from 16's. I am stock sport suspension right now. Thinking race springs because i have no money for c/o right now.

Post pics if you like. I want to know what's your suspension setup. *I need ideas*

Re: Everyone running 19's on their B5

my old set-up. i would do what nic says and get 18s but since you already bought the 19s here you go. i'm on koni c/o at 24" ground to fender. no rolled fenders and no rubbing.

i went down to 17s because i wanted to go lower without rolling my fenders, plus i wanted slightly larger tires. i felt every nasty bump in the road i was afraid i'd bend the rim.

19" iForged with H&R coilovers. The stance is kinda weird because it's parked in the sloped driveway, but the 2nd pic is more or less how I roll.

B5 S4 with 19" AMG Rims. Lowered on Tien Coils. Rolled Fenders. 1/3" finger gap.

Close as I could get with a sideshot. (Kinda hard in a small storage)

Re: Everyone running 19's on their B5

19" iForged with H&R sport springs and Bilstein grooved shocks set on the lowest groove all the way around. Front fender are rolled and it only rubs every now and then if I hit a good bump while turning.

This is without the spare so the back usually sits a hair lower. Here is a picture with the same setup and with a full 19" spare in the trunk.

How is the ride harshness with race springs and stock (even though they're sport) shocks? Not too bumpy?

I don't. That's where she sit for most of the time, any farther back and ground clearance = 0

Gotta get REALLY creative to get into the garage, but it still happens at night most of the time (sometimes I'm just WAY too unmotivated and I wash the car the next morning)

I'm definitely happy that this house is only a lease, and the new one will definitely NOT have a freakin 35* driveway from HELL. It honestly looks like this with the speed bump at the top: -\_

19" x8.5 ASA ST4's Neuspeed Race/Bilstein sport, front fenders rolled with no rubbing.
the suspension settled a little more that this pic and i also threw on some 5mm spacers since then also.

Minor epiphany I had right now.. all the cars posted in this thread have been clean and sexy. Dunno why people hate on 19's so much for anything other than performance reasons, I think they can look good with the proper drop and spacing.

never understood that either? it's not like we stuffed 24's under there.

when i first joined audiworld i almost had to put a flamesuit on when i first posted pictures of my car with 19s on it. you would of thought i had a 4 tier spoiler and windsheild washer lights the way they reacted i think they look great with the right suspension.......

yea i had H&R race springs before i got coils, and i wasnt happy with the ride height even on 17's

around these parts yes, people tend to run 24"+ ground to fender which is equivalent to the drop on race springs

however i run my car at 22" ground to fender, some people can pull off 19's but to pull them off i feel that you need to be more then 2" lower then stock, or have some chubby tires on there

19x9.5 DPE r16s on H&R races on Koni struts. Be prepared to SLAM the car because it will look like it's lifted if you don't. Mine looked too high at first with the 3" drop springs but it settled after 50 miles or so. Now there is 2 cm clearance between the tires and fenders and it looks bitchin (IMO).

The cars look great. All of them. I just curious about 19's on a B5.. I wanted to get them but a dude with a B5 got them and told me its not a good thing. He rubs all the time esp. when m turn. Do any of you have that problem?

As for the clearance.. ha ha ha . I can never get into a parking garage without scraping the buttom.
