    check valve question

    can i just run a pipe through this and call it a day? it looks craked and its making a clicking sound.

    if you have one i can buy or a part number i can use that would be good thanks

    New one from Audi is about $28.00. You can also buy a generic one from Autozone. I opted for the O.E.M. part as I'm just that way.

    that check valve was too small i took mine off and it actually worked fine they do have one that fits, its in the pcv, pvc section that looked like it would work size wise

    No, you can't remove the check valve, it's requried to prevent boost pressure from reaching the evaporative storage cannister, and the other fuel tank ventilation system. The clicking noise is the N80 EVAP purge solenoid valve, just to the left of the check valve. You also need to replace that ripped wiring harness boot on the N80 soleniod valve. If it's not fixed, the contact terminals will get dirty and cause problems.
