Well I finally got the snow I wanted today, hmm why is there so much snow IN the car?

Ah, someone very cleverly removed (read: shattered) my passenger window and cleaned out my car, yet again!!!

No pics yet (they got my digi camera again!!) Looks like a simple smash and grab, nothing in rear of car touched.

Radar detector was only thing left plugged in (ipod and camera in center console). But I guess that was enough. The person didn't unplug it either, he just pulled and pulled on it, which destroyed the drivers side A-pillar trim piece.

So looks like new window, going to have to retint all of the, which has been long time coming and the A-pillar trim piece...

They got Passport 8500 x50, new ipod touch, and cannon 1100is digi camera.

i would lock everything up in a small safe and put it in my glove compart
and put a lion in the passenger seat

or just get some bullet proof glass....that always helps...haha

Yeah, I have been using glove compartment a lot more, just not 100% of time.

Car was parked in Mount Lookout (cincinnati oh) on Stanley avenue. I don't consider it to be a "bad" area by any means. Cops said people drive in from worse areas quite often...

i do wonder if the person that broke into you car has ever stopped and thought....oh....maybe im causing a great deal of damage and this guy shouldnt be the target....or just dont even do it to anyones car....

its the holidays and times are rough....
doesnt mean you should break into cars and steal their sh*t they spent their hard earned money on.
(i say this from recent experiences) ( i went threw 4 cameras and 2 of them were stolen)

My buddys truck just had the same thing happen when we were up in seattle, sole my girlfriends purse and left behind another purse and didnt even touch the 4k+ ICE system. Damn morons these days always ruining someone else's day. Sorry for your losses

Exactly. I learned after my brother's car was broken into. Anything over $25 goes into the house with me. $300 ipod, $150 camera, $300 radar detector.
There's three great reasons for a thief to break a window.

My first thought as well. My brothers car was broken into when he was in high school and his sound system was stolen, even since then anything worth something goes inside. Carry a backpack with you if you have to.
