DIY Brakes on the q7

I just got a bid from Audi for new brakes on all four corners for a grand. Ive always done my own brakes but this is the first German car i have owned that i intend to wrench myself. Does anyone know if its just as basic as the american and asian cars or does the "German Engineering" kick in?

Whats it include???? i have a set of from rotors for cheap if you want it... near new with less than 1000 miles on it... bought mine as a set with calipers but only need the calipers. Let me know.

That was just brakes and labor. I need to buy the shop manual and see what it entails to see if i want to do it myself or waste the $500 having Audi do it. Do you know of any downloadable manual?

please clarify what you mean by brakes??? Rotors, pads, calipers,........

If you mean replacing the pads and rotors, this might help. I know that this is a DIY for a Touareg, but they have similar/identical brake systems (Brembo). If any thing it should be a good starting point.
