For anyone who has installed the S4 rear valence...

I understand most with the S4 valence use a dual tip exhaust made for it (AWE, etc). But does anyone know where the OEM single tip would line up in the dual opening? I'd like to convert the single tip exhaust to dual or use a single wide tip on each side, but I need to figure out if I can use a normal Y-split dual tip or if the pipe has to be relocated to the center of the opening. I have a feeling that the single tip would sit more to the outside edge of the dual opening.

Pics to show the tip position would be great, but that may be asking too much

Hopefully this is clear and thanks for any insight!

That's exacly what I did. If you try to place a Y split dual tip, it won't be properly alligned. The guy's in charge of the installation need to be experts so that they con change that straight "Y" form into a more curved "Y". I really dont know if I made my self clear enough. I am from Mexico and I am doing my best with the english...

The thing is, they did it for me, the can do it for you, it´s just no a direct swap.

No, they are a local brand, nothing fancy. I saw the guy who did the job for me working, it can be done but it was a PIA. Lot's of cutting, bending, heating, bending again, etc...

Thanks for the replies and pics! One of the tips I was contemplating has a slightly offset inlet. It may be enough to ease installation a bit. Looks like I'm going to have to pick up an S4 rear to check.

I did this with my B7. I but a Y-pipe so I could have Quad tips. The single tips fit on the outermost part of the S4 Valance. So all my shop did was chop the single tips created an offset pipe and just welded on the Quad tips....voila!
