What to get a B7 owner for XMAS???

So my GFs little bro ha a B7 A4 s-line which ....welll I basically talked him into and he soon fell in love with.

I have also had it flashed for him. And it is manual.


I am looking for suggestions as to what I could afford to get him under 200 chucks?


I would like to scoop up a vent pod boost gauge but they are a bit pricey and then I get stuck w the hassle of installation

I was also thinking satin mirror caps but no one has them in stock. Or maybe Xenon Fogs, or spacers.

Suggestions? inexpensive Group Buys?

I would get the VMR Sport, Integrated Vent Gauge Kit $129.99 (check the "Group Buys, Specials & New Products" section for it)

Or

RS4 rear sway bar.

Both will take about an hour to install.

rs4 rear sway... maybe some spacers (only if hes dropped).. maybe an ebay spoiler (very cheap only like $40).. or get a body shop to paint his refelctors, diffuser, and maybe his grille..

He has the iPod hookup. IDK if he drives aggressively enough to appreciate the sways. Plus I'd rather them for my self. LOL

Short shifter seems like I dope idea. Whats a good kit? Expensive? What about installation.

I don't wanna get stuck with the installation because the kid has no tools and I live in Manhattan... obviously w no garage :(

Lots of choices:
Blacked out grill (maybe done by a paint shop), RS4 Sway bar, Matte silver mirror housings (check ebay), a tint, ebay rear spoiler, a front plate filler, etc.

Does he have tint? You could hook him up w/ getting tint done, although that could be a shade higher than $200.

I'm pretty sure NY has front plate laws, but a filler plate is a nice call too.

$300? It was never that expensive, even when we first released it.

We lowered the price a while ago to $199.95 and even had it on sale earlier this month for cheaper.

We have Black or Platinum pods.

I belive you mean the Cupra R lip, hehe, but I think it should be fine w/o the car being lowered. From memory, I've seen one or two around the forums with just that on it, and they look great.

There are plenty of options. I do agree with the RS4 swaybar, all-weather mats, or I would personally go with maintenance items that you could put together(that is if he likes to work on his car).

* EDIT * Don't forget led lights for any part of the car too. Those can be mixed and matched according to your budget.

If you don't go with the sways or SS kit things like a nice license plate frame (I have the Audi Sport one), Momo shift knob, sunshade, wheel cleaning kit (the good stuff, not PepBoys crap), all weather mats, RS4 grill or plate delete, boost guage...
