Should I buy VAST water meth injection, or Devil's own?

They are the same thing. I know vast uses the devil's own kit iirc.. But is there something more I get with the VAST kit than the Devil kit?

It looks identical. But the devil kit is ~$40 less.

I believe Vast's comes with 2 nozzles and everything you need to install it on an S4, where as the Devils Own is a universal kit and you would have to get another nozzle and possibly other pieces separate.

Someone can't really compare by price. Vast has more nozzles and parts than the DevilsOwn kit. With Vast you get on-site install and great customer service. The staff at Vast is great and has a lot of knowledge about installing the kits.

I found devils own to be alot more helpful then vast. The whole best customer service speil is bullshit. I called vast looking for help cause my middle led on the controller was burnt out and they just told me well if it's hooked up right it should work lol. vast just throws a sticker on D/O's controller that says vast lol. If you want to save a few bucks just get it from jhm they have good customer service.

No issues with my VAST kit yet and yes, their customer service is amazing! Prince is the man!

Are you going to get a tune for your water/meth system? If so, the VAST kit does not include a fail safe.

^So you could just run this without a tune and still pick up some hp? And then if the system ever failed there would be no problem since the engine wont have a specific tune looking for the meth right?

my devil's own kit is great, zero complaints! VAST's is also great from what i've heard, and it comes with their support and instructions.. can't go wrong either way

Neither, go with an Aquamist setup w/ failsafes. More money, but you get what you pay for.

i agree aquamist is def better with the failsafe and all.. but VAST/JHM/devils own kit does have diagnostic leds, so if there is some sort of failure, you know. and youd be an idiot if you were on a meth tune to continue to run it at full boost. very easy to navigate through and fix failure problems. when i first installed mine, the leds gave me an obvious problem with how it lit up and continued to behave. i work all day till 6, so called dan@jhmotorsports and we had the problem resolved in 15 min. has worked perfect since.

I can see your point, I have a hard time looking at anything other than the road while under full boost, and might not notice a light, so I'm happy with mine, I guess its idiot proof, and what I need.

the only complaint i have about the vast system compared to the devils own is the tubing. I bought the vast kit and the tubing had burst on my twice. I replaced it with the DO tubing which is alot stronger (really noticable the quality difference), havent had a problem yet. One thing to note is that where the tubing burst on me it was about 1ft from the down pipes, so it was seeing more heat than normal. Guess the cheaper plastic softens up easier. The DO tubing is routed the same.

Yes that's true... Some people tune so aggressively for methanol however that if it was ever not to spray by some sort of accident or pump not working, there would be some serious motor damage potentially.

I've had my VAST kit for 8+ months now in all sorts of weather, very cold and very hot in the summer 100*F+ days..

Some people like to spend money too, I can't complain at all with the kit and it's been more than enough for my needs.

They must cram some serious timing to do that I would think, I doubt any smart tuner would give a customer a tune to aggressive to where if the pump failed the motor fails too. I'm curious to hear if any members have blown their motor due to meth failure. Any first hand accounts?

Support VAST, Chance at DO is a wealth of knowledge, but as he stated above, go to VAST for the kit. It is not hurting DO's feelings, they are getting the sale either way. With VAST you will get the customer support that you need in a platform specific way.
