Car runs better with little fuel?

Ok maybe its just me, but I feel like when im like on the last white line, before all the red ones my car drives like a dream! It takes off zooming, the CVT clutch doesnt hessitate when I hit the gas, the throttle response is beyond imaginable, feels like it was just driven off the dealer floor!

Why is that?? Is it just me, or do someother AZ'ers feel this too?
(BTW I only fill up with Chevron 91, never anything else, so dont tell me its the gas)

I feel the opposite. To me, the car runs kind of shitty when I get low on fuel and is much smoother after filling up.

yeah, my A/F's get worse when i start to creep towards that last bit of the tank.. that's proof of how bad running your car under 1/4 tank can be for your fuel pump. it's a lot of undue stress - sure you have to stop at the pump more often.. but you might as well buy that shit up now while it's still cheap - we all know it's gonna go back up again.
