JHM Polished Weighted Aluminum Knob

We have had a few people request how a JHM aluminium weighted knob would look polished. Until recently no one ordered a polished knob so I had fun with it

These two picture are before I engrave and knurled it




The customer requested no shift pattern background paint so here is the final product.:


I might hit it with some polish one last time before we send it off.

All JHM weighted shift knobs are currently $10 off too.

It needs a little more polishing as you can see the lines, use something that cuts a little more and work your way from there.. looks good though.

Yeah it has a few lines - the camera really brings out the details. I have been thinking about designing a rounder style knob just for those we do request it. We'll see. Thanks.

not only do you get a sick shift knob, it doubles as a branding iron on a hot summers day, i cant wait to have 1-6 pattern branded on my palm.

Yeah this town is growing... we even have our own Costco

Making a backlit knob would be pretty difficult. I would have to find a company to make some sort of clear epoxy sticker and then mock up a light under neath it. I wouldn't be able to keep it weighted then either. I'll keep it in mind.

LOL yep. Show off to your friends that you drive a 6-speed on the palm of your hand. Thats why we make a Delrin option which does not conduct the heat/cold as much and still looks good.
