loving the -24 degree wind chill factor today...

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
so my car was parked at my school for about ten hours. obviously the cold weather made my clutch feel very heavy, but, my brake light kept on beeping ever so often when i would use my clutch. i made sure that the parking brake was off. is this just a sensor malfunction due to the cold climate or what?

    thanks.

Maybe the brake was still stuck / partially applied to the wheels?

I read a few threads before I went to work about some guys having to use a space heater to thaw it off. And a few other guys having to take out a pin or something.

    I could be wrong

yeah, when it get's in the single digit's or below zero here, my E brake cable loves to freeze up on me.

does your ebrake lever feel different though? like, more loose?

hell, im in texas and my brake light flashed and beeped at me 3 times the other night... i thought how weird, but it has been cold out like 30 degrees. it happened the first time i braked at a stop sign coming out of my neighborhood, and didnt happen again. it may have been when i pushed the clutch all the way in to stop also...
