Ok so in the rear passenger seat the floor is soaking wet when it rains and the water stays there for a while. I have cleaned the sunroof drains so what else could it be?

any chance the sunroof seal is leaking? is the headliner wet?

Hi and l let me welcome you to the "Where the hell is that water coming from club?!?"

You might check your ECU box under the hood near the firewall. Mine leaks from there. Also the drain under your battery.

Just because it is in the rear floor boards doesn't mean it's coming from the rear. If your car is at an angle it will all run to the low point. Good luck.

I have the same problem behind my driver seat.

Its not the battery drain, its not the sunroof.

Im taking it to the dealership tomorrow morning , i'll let you know what they find.

Had the same problem with my gf passat. Try checking your windshield, see if there is any cracks on the side or on top. if you fine any, just seal with some silicon.

    Re: Water on floor

so i just got off the phone with the dealership.

the leak is where the power wire for the subs goes through the firewall , mine goes through with the hood latch release cable.

They are resealing it up with some window sealant i guess.

No i do not have subs i'm gonna take a look at the battery drain and the ecu. If it was this problem wouldnt the front passenger floor be wet as well even tho the water flows down?

    Re: Water on floor

When I first bought my car only the rear drivers floor was soaking dry as hell everywhere else. My water is/was coming from under ECU. I used some silicone and that thick foamy door (house door) insulation for cracks to help seal the box off better.
