Here are some pics of my Avant that I just purchased Thursday. I'm pretty stoked about it, tell me what you think! I'm looking to add some style points to it. Preferably mods that aren't too expensive. Here's a list of the mods that I know of that my Avant already has installed.

S4 Mirrors
S4 Steering Wheel
'07 Audi Nav Installed (can someone tell me which model I have?)
19" Rims
Body Kit
Low Profile Tires
Dual Exhaust Tips
Audi Shark Fin for Radio
Carbon Fiber Window Sides (Whatever the hell you call those)
Steel Foot Pedals
ECU Chip (Don't remember which chip I have, in the process of figuring it out)

I'm pretty sure I'm going to tint all the windows (except the windshield of course). I was thinking some 5% limo tint, but I know that's illegal in Washington, and I think the cops in Seattle might be stiflers on that. So I'm looking in to 10-15%. I'm also looking into getting smoked taillight and headlight covers (are smoked headlight covers possible?)

Looks really good man, congrats on the pick up. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it? Once you tint those windows and tail lights it will look unreal.

Thanks! I purchased it for $20 G's cash, it had 48,000 miles on it when I bought it, and the previous owner had also purchased an extra 50,000 mile 5 year warranty, so it's warrantied for 10 year 100,000 miles. I think it's a huge steal, the guy I bought it from was awesome, he knew it was about $6 G's under KBB not including the mods, he basically just wanted to get an '05 Range Rover HSE. I'm extremely happy with the purchase!

If you guys have any advice on what Style Point additions would look good on this, type away, I'd love to hear everyone's input!

Thats a steal considering that it's an '05 Avant and rockin Iforged wheels and an Oettinger front. Those wheels retail at about 700 a piece. Nice ride and welcome to the forums.

Clear corner it... Take the yellow tabs out of the headlights ( do a search on how todo it)

Sorry, I miss-typed. I meant $6 G's under KBB "including" the mods, since the rims were almost $3, Body Kit, Carbon Fiber, Tips, Nav, Mirrors, Steering Wheel, etc. Thanks for pointing out my mistake.

I know... I had to go for automatic though, I live in Seattle where there are ton's of hills, plus I do a lot of driving in the mountains in the winter, and it's much more convenient to have an automatic.

By the way, I'm new to the whole car thing... What is CC and BAT? Sorry if that's too much of a noob question!

Haha, I know it needs some work... What is FMIC though? I'm still a noob to all this, so I'm not familiar with all the acronyms. This is my first major car purchase, I'm trying to get rid of my first car, my '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee TSI, it has 172,000 miles on it, haha. I'm only 19, so that's why I'm such a noob to this. Thanks for the opinions though!

Haha, wow, that makes a lot of sense now. Thanks for the help! I'm fine with the turbo that came with the 1.8t, if I get a bigger turbo I'll be losing MPG I'd assume (correct me if I'm wrong). I'll check into the FMIC. What exactly does the CC do?

Thank you. That's unfortunate to hear on his Rover (at least in your opinion), but it's still a Rover, haha. Ya, it seems like he did a great job with the Avant. As I said earlier, he seemed like a great guy, I'm glad I bought from him.

Nice avant, very well sorted. Needs the tint and clear corner. You might consider blacking out the side skirts (not really sure on this, but it might match your black-out theme).

You have the same saggy rear that most avants have with suspension/coilovers... i am thinking of raising my rear 0.25" to make it look more even, but i wonder if that will shift too much weight to the front of the car

ps make sure you remove your side skirts and check for rust, there might be some in one of your pics. they are easy to remove, just two screws from the inside of the door and they slide out

Wow good eyes on the peeling Carbon Fiber on the driver's side. That recently just happened, I think it's the change in climate, cause they were recently put on by the previous owner. What is the best way to "fix" or re-apply those?

And which one's the mis-aligned brake? That will be a good one to point out to the Audi dealer when I take it in right before the 50,000 mile warranty goes out. That could solve the curiosity that has arisen in me because a brake has squeaked only 3 different times. It's not three times I've driven it, just 3 different random times that I have braked. FYI, the back brakes were just done within the last 1,000 miles.

i think it needs some skirts and rear bar to suit the oettinger front. front looks to chunky and low compared to the rest.

one suggestion (tried and tested) is kerscher sides and S4 rear.

a bigger turbo wont necessarily give you less MPG. Sometimes you can get more MPG, because it is easier to stay out of boost with the bigger turbos.

Nice ride for sure Not sure why so many people are not liking the rims. I personally love that style Iforged wheel.

TIP tranny = someone throw a brick to your head. ( i have already had mine)

some side skirt to finish off the lines on the body. the Oetty front's bottom is too low, the lines don't look right and they dont flow well. get a Kerscher side skirts. caractere skirt whatever.

I see why your car scrapes. lol.
for the headlight, don't clear corner the amber reflectors, you will have holes and it will make the headlight look cheap. either Joey Mod or get E-code headlights.

the wheels are very pricey because they are iForged. if you like the wheels great, if you don't sell them.
I suggest you take each wheel apart and paint the center section again, and polish up the lips because the lips in the pictures look faded.

Ultrasport freak you piss me off. That's a really nice USP Avant & I want one. Only reason why i'm selling my sedan, I want an Avant! Now I just wish I could find one in the tri-state with the options and in prestine condition.

Good buy, have fun with it. Only thing i'd do with it, is go VMR Over-Played RS4 Reps 18" in HyperSilver.
